Owned by Marianna I. Schiavone and operated by her family and self, La Borgata serves delicious Italian sandwiches (see the menu).
After publishing her own cookbook, "La Bella Molisana," in which Marianna shares her family's traditional Italian recipes, she set her heart on opening her very own deli. As of June 12th, 2010, that dream has become a reality. At the moment, the family also owns a private winery which shares its name with Marianna's deli.
Inside, you will often find most of the proud Italian ladies in Marianna's family, including her adorable 97 year old grandmother, Nonnina. Besides encounters with the family, every customer will enjoy the pleasant ambiance of the deli thanks to the hard work and effort Marianna and her family put into remodeling the interior of the building.
The entire family invites you to come inside and enjoy a cappucino with a dessert, grab a hand-made sandwich, or purchase freshly sliced, high-quality Italian and local deli meats, including prosciutto, mortadella, salami and a variety of other choices.
